Drink and Drive in Cyprus

High risk groups of drivers in Cyprus have a limit of 9 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath (20 milligrams per 100 millilitres of blood).

High risk groups:

  • Novice drivers
  • motorcycles,
  • trucks,
  • buses,
  • taxis,
  • vehicles transporting hazardous cargoes

The legal limit in breath is 22 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit in blood is 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.
